I didn’t realize how often we went on dates before having the twins.

We had some at home dates, but usually our dates were long are rides, dinner or trips to the Oregon coast.
Now I’m constantly on the look out for at home date night ideas for after the kids go down, because movie nights and ordering from Postmates can only last as a date night for so long.
So in celebration of our four year wedding anniversary, I have put together a list of ideas for date nights in and making it a priority to make them happen.
If you’re on the look out for inexpensive and easy date night ideas, these ones are for you!
At Home Date Night Ideas

Game Night
Not just Monopoly and Scrabble. Make it fun with Charades, Would you Rather and more!
Spa Night
Make each other feel amazing with massages, bath bombs and face masks!
Date Box
Ordering a date box is fun from time to time. Check out Date Box here! You can order the full box, or get a digital download of your date. We ordered one once and it was a super fun way to spend the evening. It even had a Spotify mix to listen to while we made up the snacks and crafts that came in our box!
Wine/Beer Tasting
Personal favorite at home date night idea right here. Run to your closest grocery store and snag a few new drinks to try out and have an at home tasting after the kids go down!
Bucket Listing
Start dreaming together. Sit down and think up what you two would love to do with your lives. Places to visit, things to accomplish; dream it all up!
HGTV & Chill
Another favorite for sure. Who doesn’t love HGTV with a side of ice cream??
Download Fun Apps
I got this idea from good old Mr. Google and it sounded like a super fun way to connect with your spouse! Download something like that old age face app, or photoshop, and go crazy.
Theme Nights
I LOVE this idea. I think we’ll be doing this idea often. Pick a theme, like Italian night, and dress up, make an Italian feast, watch a movie, the whole thing!
Competition Evening
I am UP for this at home date night idea. Bake off? HELL YES! You could make anything a competition though. Putting a puzzle together, finishing a Sudoku puzzle, icing a cake. Have fun with it!
His or Her Favorites Evening
MY last date night idea is pretty simple. Do each others favorite things. Favorite meal, dessert, game, movie. It’s all about THEM.
How was this for a list of at home date night ideas? I hope it gave you some new ideas to spice up that home life of yours!
