Who is game for some easy cheese appetizers?
Easy? Cheesey? Yes PLEASE!

The clerks were so helpful at the Fred Meyer store I visited and they truly made creating these four cheese appetizers for you guys just that much easier.
Here are the four easy cheesey appetizers that’ll rock your holiday party this year.
Garlicy Fontina Dip:
What you’ll need:
- 1 1/2 pounds Murray’s Fontina Cheese with Rind Removed
- Olive Oil
- 1 Whole Head of Fresh Garlic with Cloves Sliced
- 1 TBS Fresh Thyme
- 1 TBS Fresh Rosemary
- Salt
- Pepper
How to recreate:
- Dice up the fontina cheese and layer inside of a pie dish
- Pour a couple TBS of olive oil on top of the diced fontina cheese
- Top with rosemary and thyme.
- Sprinkle some salt and pepper on top
- Stick in the oven with oven rack close to broiler and broil on high for 5-8 minutes, until cheese starts to bubble
- Serve with sliced baguette and enjoy!
Pesto Mozz Bites: (recreated from Fredmeyer.com)
What you’ll need:
- 1 package fresh mozzarella pearls
- 1 package petite cherry tomatoes
- 1 package pesto sauce
- Fresh basil
- Toothpicks
How to recreate:
- Drop mozzarella pearls and cherry tomatoes in a large bowl
- Pour pesto sauce on top and stir
- Using one toothpick each, push through one mozzarella ball, then add a leaf of basil, then push through a cherry tomato
- Continue through all mozz balls and tomatoes
- Serve and enjoy!
Fruity Brie Bites: (recreated from Fredmeyer.com)
What you’ll need:
- 1 package frozen phyllo shells
- 1 round of brie
- Fresh Raspberries
- Nutella (optional)
How to recreate:
- Line up mini phyllo shells on baking sheet
- Chop up brie into 1 inch cubes
- Place brie cubes into phyllo shells
- Bake at 350 for 5-8 minutes until cheese starts to bubble
- Let cool for a bit
- Top with optional Nutella and fresh raspberries
& a simple to recreate, holiday cheese platter:
What you’ll need:
- 1/2 pound of three different cheeses, diced
- 1 5 oz package of salami
- Red grapes
- Fresh rosemary
How to recreate:
- Simply layer ingredients as shown in image below. Start with the bottom tier of the tree and work your way up.
- Slice up one last piece of salami into a star for added festive decoration
- Serve and enjoy!
