My mom is the holiday gift basket QUEEN.
I remember her always going all out and creating the most amazing gift baskets for every single holiday.
There are a lot of things that I inherited from my mom, but that is not one of them. I am much more likely to search for Easter Basket ideas for toddlers, or forget it all together to be honest!
But I am putting the leg work in for this Easter, and wanted to share with you guys the fun ideas I’ve found for toddler Easter baskets.
You won’t find any candy here. I don’t see why baskets are always filled with seasonal candies and such– why not fill them with things your littles actually need?
That is my goal. My Easter basket ideas for toddlers include things to help prep for spring and summer.
Even the baskets!
Making everything usable is the only way I’ll jump on board with the every holiday gift giving.

Easter Basket Ideas for Toddlers
First: The actual baskets themselves.
I have seen some adorable ideas for Easter baskets crafted with rain boots, umbrellas, buckets and pots.
I love these ideas for their versatility.
Rain Boots? It’s spring! Your little will get some good use out of these!
Umbrellas? Again, it’s spring! And even if your little doesn’t need one quite yet, they’ll love it soon!
Buckets (ie. Sand buckets)? So much use! Especially with these Silicone Foldable buckets! Super easy to stash way, and bring out to play.
Then planters. This one might be better suited for older toddlers, but it goes great with another idea on my list! I am all for getting kids into the kitchen, yard, laundry and such early. Why not let them play with their own plant while they watch you tend yours?
Now as for the good stuff.
What to fill your toddlers Easter basket with?
Here are a few ideas to get you rolling:
Colorful Dishes also work as a great gift idea that is super practical
We love the sets from Dr. Browns! Ya’ll know I swore by them when the twins were babies but I was happy to see they had dishes as well!
My favorites for toddlers have been:
Dr. Browns Plates

Dr. Browns Divided Plates

Dr. Browns First Toddler Cups

Aside from those ideas, I’d fill in any gaps with little things they might need like shirts, pants, jammies.
Just because it’s for a holiday doesn’t mean you can’t use it as a chance to gift your toddlers with things they need or can be useful!
I hope my Easter basket ideas for toddlers helped you get an idea of what you want to put together for your littles!
I’ll be posting on Instagram and Facebook Easter weekend what I end up putting together for the twins, so stay tuned and follow if you haven’t!
