I know you have seen it everywhere.
Just about every influencer out there talks about the FabFitFun box.
But is the FabFitFun box worth it?
That has been my question for the last couple years that I have known about the product. And I finally took the leap and signed up for my first fabfitfun box.
I had heard enough about it to know what it was- a seasonal box that comes with full sized products valuing upwards of $300 per box. But what does that even mean? Will I love the products? Or will they end up shoved in the back of my vanity like the rest of my mystery beauty items?
Only one way to find out, right?
So I signed up for the 2018 Summer Editors box and hoped for the best!
The box was delivered about two weeks ago at this point, but with the big move and life with twins– I just recently got to unboxing and trying out the products!
Now I have to share with you guys why you need FabFitFun in your life!
Let’s start off with why you’re here.
To see if it’s worth the price point.
Short answer- yes.
Why? I think the fabfitfun box is worth the price because of what you are getting. You aren’t getting dinky travel sized items from the brands you already love and have probably tried before. You are getting full sized items from new brands. Brands you likely haven’t tried much of before.
To me, that was a huge selling point. The whole point of subscription boxes, in my opinion, is to try new things. Find new brands. Experience new products. And that is exactly what the FabFitFun subscription box allows you to do!
The full sized products really give you a feel for if you truly like the product or not. I would much rather pay the $50 that I did for the full sized items I received, than $10 for their trial sized offerings and not get the chance to really try and use the products.
Not to mention, the price factor allows you to try some pretty fantastic products.
I am not sure how they swing it- but just my box alone was worth well over $300. Would I have paid that much for the products on my own? Probably not. But all of them for $50? You BET!
The boxes change seasonally, however I will share what all I received in the Summer Editors box!
- Spongelle Body Buffer
- ISH Lip Palette
- Korres Japanese Rose Shower Gel
- 8 Other Reasons Necklace
- Makeup Drop Silicone Beauty Applicator
- Ahava Mineral Hand Cream
- Makeup Bag
- (Very large) Turkish Towel
If I had to pick a top three from this box- they would be the makeup bag, body buffer, and turkish towel.
I would pay $50 for those three items alone! I have been looking for a killer makeup bag for years. YEARS. And this is the first one that is damn near perfect. And I wasn’t even looking for it!
It even fits my Maybelline Fit Me foundation standing up!
Then the body buffer was a product I have always wanted to try, but never really wanted to pay for. To me, it seemed like an overhyped up product! So of course I was excited when I found it in the box and tried it out right away!
Well I LOVED it!! The sponge left my body feeling silky smooth, and since it lets out so much soap at once, it was great for quickly smothering my legs before shaving!
Then of course the towel. I haven’t used it as a towel, in my eyes it is much more a light blanket. WHICH it is really great for! We used it while watching fireworks the other night and it was big enough to keep my husband and I comfortable!
Okay but being completely honest- I never would have gone out and purchased any of these items. And I might not go out out and repurchase after I use them all up. But they were exactly the type of products I look for in a box like this! I want to try things I wouldn’t go out and buy on my own.
Overhyped? Yes.
Worth the price? Also yes.

I’ve been so curious if this was worth it. I cancelled a similar service because I didn’t like the sample sizes. This definitely seems like it’s worth it and that makeup bag is so cute!

Yes! Make sure you go for it!
