Raise your hand if you’re tired of feeling anything but confidence in your plus sized body.

If you’re here, I am sure your hand is raised. At least figuratively.
I have struggled with accepting my plus sized body a lot since having my twins a few years ago. I have always been “big” but I had never been “plus size big” until recently and it has been a lot to take in.
My skin has extra stretch, clothes I used to love no longer fit properly, and the world seems to look at me a bit differently. I am targeted by salespeople selling quick fix diet and exercise programs. Called “brave” when I post a picture revealing some skin. And shown I am not worthy in the eyes many stores by them not carrying my new size in their stores.
That is enough to weigh down the shoulders of anyone. And it used to do just that to me. I felt horrible. So I searched for answers. Hopped back on diet trains. Got a gym membership.
I was trying to prove to myself that I could find the value that I had thought was lost because of my size.
But then I began learning more about body positivity. Body acceptance.
And my world changed.
Your body can grow. Your body can stretch. Your body can shrink. It can go up a size or down a size, but you know what?
Never, ever will it lose value.
Never will your body lose its value here on earth because of it’s gravitational pull. Because of its jean size. Because of the way it looks to someone else.
You are strong, and I know deep down you know that.
You deserve to feel confidence in your plus sized body.
And here is exactly how you’ll find it.
How to Find Confidence in Your Plus Sized Body
First: Realize Your Plus Sized Body Has Value
I know, easier said than done. But just like I said above, your value does not fluctuate with your size. Your value is a constant.
You are worthy of love and acceptance. You have a right to the space you take up on this earth.
So live it, breathe it. Let go of any negative assumptions about your body.
Your body is here to stay on this earth and it needs your love to flourish.
Second: Donate What Doesn’t Fit Your Plus Sized Body
It can be easy to want to hold onto those clothes that are too tight. Those jeans that “you’ll fit it again someday”.
But let me tell you a little secret.
Those clothes, they hurt you. They hold you back. You can’t fully accept yourself if you’re holding onto those “what ifs”.
You don’t need to hold onto those clothes because they might fit again someday. Right now they don’t and that’s that. You’ll find a whole new confidence in your plus sized body once you surround yourself in clothes that fit it properly.
Third: Shop at Retailers That Empower Your Plus Sized Body
There is no worse feeling and stab to your confidence than walking into a clothing store and not being able to find your size. To see no models that look like you.
My easy fix? Shop at the retailers who accept plus sized bodies.
My favorite? Lane Bryant.
Lane Bryant promotes a body positive lifestyle for plus sized women, which is something I can fully stand behind.
They see we are just as worthy as anyone else when it comes to quality, fashionable clothes and they do it right!
One of my favorite things about shopping in their stores is seeing models that do look like me.
Today I’m revealing my ultimate confidence level and showing you guys a few of my favorites from their Spring 2020 swim wear collection and what I love about each of them.
First up, the Strappy Swim One Piece With Flutter Sleeves.
Next, the Ruched Swim Dress With No-Wire Bra
Then one of my favorites, the Strappy-Back Longline Swim Bikini Top With Balconette Bra with High-Waist Drawstring Swim Brief
And last suit, my favorite, the Longline Underwire Balconette Bikini Top with High-Waist Swim Brief
BONUS: The best French Terry Cover-Up Dress
What do you think of these Lane Bryant swim looks? Have I sold you on needing them in your life yet?
Before your hesitation gets in the way, let me remind you.
Your plus sized body has value. Has worth.
You deserve to feel confidence in your plus sized body, just as much as anyone else.
If I can do this, I know you can too.
Cheers to plus sized body positivity!
