Are you losing yourself as a new mom?
Then you need to check out the More Than Just Moms subscription box!
I don’t think I have done anything quite like this on the blog before. So who is up for something new?!
I came across More Than Just Moms on Instagram a few months ago and loved her feed. I noticed that it was a subscription box- so of course I had to go check it out!
Who doesn’t love a new subscription box?! Especially one exclusively for MOM.
Anyways, I checked out the website to see what the MTJM boxes were all about and they just pulled me in!
The boxes are geared towards giving mom something to be excited about as we often lose ourselves in being mom.
The seasonal boxes are filled with items to make you feel “…beautiful, feel relaxed, (and) on trend”. There are two different options to choose from- of which one is totally geared towards mom and the other one has a little something for mom and baby.
The best part about the subscription? It doesn’t have to be a subscription at all!
Unlike most “subscription style” boxes, you can order the seasonal box and that’s it. It costs a few more dollars to do it that route, but how cool is that? I know there have been plenty of times I wanted to try out a subscription box and had to make reminders to myself to cancel before I was charged again for another month!
Oh there is one more great thing about the More Than Just Moms subscription box; I have a 50% off code for you!
All you have to do is go to mtjmoms.com and select which box you want, and then during the check out process enter the code TWINSANDCOFFEE and you will receive 50% off your one time purchase OR subscription purchase!
Now that you are already thinking of checking them out, let me give you a run down of what is in the Summer MTJM Box.
So the box comes with seven items, all of which are from small businesses.
The Summer Box comes with:
- Peaceful Fruits fruit strip
- Obvious State Floral Tote
- SugarBombs Handmade Soap Bar
- Lux London Body Scrub
- Balnapis Gemstone Bath Salts
- Delia Organics Restore Facial Oil
- Moss & Marsh Bath Mitt
The first thing I noticed when I opened my box was that it smelled HEAVENLY. Not like the normal grandma perfumey smell most of these kinds of boxes have- but like a fun, florally yummy smell!
After going through the box I found out that the SugarBombs soap was the culprit. That thing smells SO good, I almost want to use it for a bathroom smellie and nothing else!
The closest thing I can relate it to is like a grown up version of the smell of zebra gum. You guys know what I’m talking about, right?! The old gum that you could also tattoo your tongue with? No? Well.. I’m sorry.
I also tried the Peaceful Fruits fruit strip because, well, science. And it was so good! I received the Pineapple Acai flavor and it was super pretty too!
Both the body scrub and bath salts were heavenly and left my skin feeling (and smelling) amazing! Then I tried out the facial oil on well my face, but also my hands and exfoliated skin and it soaked right in! The oil itself does not have a smell, so it didn’t take away the fresh smells of the body scrub or bother the sensitive skin on my face.
Then the bath mitt by Moss & Marsh was great for really scrubbing the twins down after dinner time. I feel like with just a plain rag, I don’t do as well of a job as I did with the mitt.
And lastly, the beautiful floral tote bag. It is seriously SO pretty. I think I will end up using it for baby things, but at least I’ll be carrying diapers and wipes stylishly!
All in all, I think any mom should try out More Than Just Moms. I feel like I received so much more than what I paid for, and can’t wait to see what she has in store for future boxes!
If anything- trying everything out gave me a great excuse for some self pampering time!
