Shopping for baby as a first time mom can be hard!
Especially when the amazon baby best sellers list is crazy long!
When I was first shopping for baby items I took to Amazon and was frankly overwhelmed by the amount of products. Sure, they have a best sellers list, but are the products actually worth it? And do I even need all of that?
Not wanting to buy & regret, I asked around to see who used what and why they choose it. Turns out, a lot of my friends had the same product likes and dislikes!
Score!
So I took back to Amazon and ordered the ‘must-haves’ they told me about. Most of those ‘must-haves’ I ended up really loving!
Now to take the work off of your shoulders, I decided to create a list of a few of the current Amazon best selling baby items that I absolutely love. You don’t need to go through what I did!
Below you will find product links, their Amazon ranking and why I love the product so much.
Now, this isn’t a list of everything you need for baby. If you’re looking for that list, click here. It is simply a list of what I love most from Amazon’s Baby Best Sellers List.
Note that this list has been created in late December 2017 and Amazon’s Bestsellers lists are updated constantly!
13 Amazon Baby Bestsellers that I LOVE
-
Lansinoh Nipple Cream (Amazon #91)
Even though I exclusively pump, I still use nipple cream to prevent any cracks and sores. Lansinoh makes the best nipple cream that I have found.
It isn’t sticky, doesn’t have a weird smell and doesn’t stain if it gets on your bra or clothes! The lack of weird smell is what I appreciate the most. I have found that most other nipple creams that I got in baby sample packs just have weird smells that stick to your finger and bra.
-
Dr. Brown’s Bottles (Amazon #90)
I am honestly surprised these bottles aren’t higher on Amazon’s best sellers list. But they are the ONLY bottles on the list, so I’ll take that.
Dr. Browns bottles are FANTASTIC. While the twins were in the NICU, they are what the nurses used so I decided to stick with them at home as well. They are my saving grace when it comes to feeding the twins. They are designed to prevent gas and colic in babies and I truly think they have done wonders in that aspect for the twins!
-
Infant Care Kit (Amazon #84)
I love this super easy infant care kit. I have one for the house and one for on the go. I love that it have everything you need safety wise for your baby, even things you wouldn’t think of needing until you need them! I have used the bulb sucker and syringe on more than one occasion while out and about!
-
Diaper Genie (Amazon #83)
If you even thought for a second you could do without this goldmine- you thought wrong.
Some of the diapers you are about to deal with will make even the seasoned pro gag and walk away. Babies are disgusting! The locking feature on the inside of the diaper genie keeps the stink away from your home, and the bags are very easy to tie off and change!
-
Infantino Baby Carrier (Amazon #74)
OH MAN! I finally got two of these for the twins for Christmas and I am SO happy! After a little tweaking and figuring out how to fit my tiny twins into the carriers, my husband and I are ready to take on anything with them! I love that they let us be hands free. We can now walk both of our dogs without worrying about a dog getting out of our grasp with the stroller! Grocery shopping is also a breeze 😉
-
Munchkin Diaper Bags (Amazon #69)
These are just a must in general, but I am happy to see they were on the best sellers list! I didn’t think of what I would have to do with a diaper until I changed Caeden in the car and well… what do I do now? So I rolled it up and stuck it in the back of the car, where I ended up forgetting about it (because mom brain). Yeah. Never again. My car smelled SO bad when I went out to it a few days later. So I stuck some doggie bags in my diaper bag and I haven’t had a problem sense!
-
vTech Baby Monitor ( Amazon #64)
A must have for any momma is a good monitor, but the last thing I wanted was a video monitor. Maybe I have watched too many paranormal activity movies…but I was terrified of what might show up on that tiny screen. So I opted for these radio style monitors and I love them! There are other baby side monitors that you can add so you can put one in each room, but I keep the twins together so I just stick it on the table next to their crib and we’re good to go! I also love that they plug into the wall so I know the batteries aren’t going to die and me not realize it until I hear the twins screaming bloody murder through the house.
-
Rock and Play (Amazon #63)
I wasn’t able to link an image of this product, however if you click on my link it’ll show you Amazon’s selection of Rock and play’s and I think any of them would do you great! We are just nearing month four with the twins and I have used them 24/7 until this past week where we are trying to transition them into cribs. The rock and plays have made the transition into life with twins SO much easier. I absolutely love and recommend them to any expecting mother I talk to.
-
Philips Pacifier (Amazon #22)
I think these are something you should have at home before baby arrives home. These are the same pacifiers that the hospital will give to your littles, so having them at home makes for an easy transition! My babies ended up switching to these ones after a few months though.
-
Dr. Brown’s #2 Nipples (Amazon #19)
This is an odd ‘must have best seller’, but hear me out! To go along with your Dr. Brown’s bottles, you are going to need these nipples. The bottles come with size #1 nipples, and my babies hated them. If they are super hungry, the size #1 move much too slowly for them. So we have been using size #2 nipples from about 2 months until now.
If you are going to going to take the plunge and buy the Dr. Brown’s bottles, make sure to buy these too!
-
Changing Pad (Amazon #6)
How awesome can a changing pad be? It is just a changing pad. The reason I like this one from Amazon is because it is the most inexpensive, quality one I could find! It gets the job done, and comes with free two day shipping. I mean, that sounds worth it to me!
-
Bottle Brush (Amazon #5)
Well, since you are on a Dr. Brown’s shopping spree- might as well get the brush too! I love this bottle brush for two things-the sponge end and the suction cup bottom. The sponge end makes cleaning bottles (and to-go coffee cups) a breeze, and the suction cup bottom makes for easy sink storage! The brush itself sticks onto the suction cup base so all you have to do is lift up and you are ready to go! The brush can also go into the dishwasher for easy cleaning and sterilizing.
-
Regalo Baby Gate (Amazon #3)
Now if you just had baby, odds are you don’t need a gate right away, but once you do- Regalo makes AWESOME baby gates. I think I count five of them all on Amazons best sellers list? I personally have the one above and I use it at the bottom of my stairs to keep the dogs downstairs for now. The lock is tough, so little hands (and dog noses) can’t lift it, and the sides are adjustable for just about any sized doorway! They also make ones to go around wide opening staircases, open floor plan kitchens, and more!
Do you already own any of these best sellers?
What do you think of them? Would you recommend any other best sellers to new twin mommas out there? Go ahead and leave a comment below with your thoughts!
