Nursing bras suck.
Why do nursing bras suck? Well because #1- nursing sucks, and #2- they do absolutely nothing for your now bigger than your face breasts other than hold in the pads that attempt to keep your shirt dry.
Other than that, I think they suck.
They do our new boobs absolutely no justice.
I can’t wait for the day I can trade in my nursing bras for something a little more flattering!
But in the mean time- I do have a few favorite nursing bras.
The three bras below are my favorites simply for the comfort and ease they provide.
I am not making anyone promises the bras are going to make your breastfeeding boobs look like your old ones, but these will be the more comfortable and inexpensive around!
The best part?
You can purchase ALL THREE off of “>Amazon. So if you have “>Prime, you can have all three in your house within the next TWO DAYS!
Two days away from comfort!!
If you are still pregnant, you should include these on your Amazon baby registry! Check out my post with everything else that you need before baby comes 🙂
Now, lets dive into to the top 3 maternity and nursing bras!

Top 3 Maternity and Nursing Bras:
#1: Maternity/Nursing Tank Top
I know- this isn’t a bra per say. But I count it as one!
As a new mom, you are home. A. Lot. And honestly, you have too much going on to care what your boobs look like running to the grocery store for more eggs.
This tank is PERFECT.
The tank is stretchy enough for growing baby bellies, and then that same stretch makes it pretty slimming too!
Not only is the tank itself pretty slimming for our postpartum baby bodies- but the bra portion is AWESOME.
It is tight enough to comfortably hold them in place, AND even hold pump parts in place!
Surprisingly enough, I am pumping while writing this WITH this tank on right now.
I would order a couple sets if I were you.
If you are wondering about fit- I would say they are pretty true to their size. I wear a large/x-large in most things and had DD’s before I got pregnant, and the large in this top fits me perfectly!
#2: Mirity Nursing Bra
This one was my FAVORITE while I was pregnant.
It is super comfortable (think comfy sports bra) and even comes with removable padding to add a little somethin’ to your breasts!
My favorite part about this bra is that even though it is a sports bra styled maternity bra, it doesn’t give the sports bra uni-boob.
This bra doesn’t work as a hands-free pumping bra- that is it’s only downfall.
However, it makes up for it in comfort and PRICE.
Right now for a size XL on Amazon they are 12.99 for TWO BRAS.
Tell me, where have you found bras cheaper than that?
Like I said earlier, I wear shirt size L/XL and was a DD before pregnancy and in this bra- XL fits the best. Around there is plenty of room, and I like that there is extra room in the cups for when my boobs are extra full of milk!
Bonus– If you take out the support pads, you can use the pockets for reusable nursing pads!
And last- #3: Lamaze Nursing and Maternity Bra
And for the last nursing bra on my top three list- the Lamaze.
This one is my ultimate favorite.
It is simple, inexpensive, comfortable, and most importantly- allows hands free pumping!!
Since I am an exclusive pumper, hands free pumping means a lot to me.
And this bra does it best.
This bra also looks great. It holds your breasts in the center, like a normal bra would, which makes them look pretty great when you choose to wear real clothes!
If you’re like me anyways and ONLY wear nursing bras.
And again with sizing- I would say it runs a little small. And to hold the breasts right- I found the XXL fits me the best.
The XXL doesn’t dig into my shoulders, or show any back rolls (which come on, they just kind of show up during pregnancy for everyone, right?)
It also has enough give for when milk is about to burst from your breasts.
Did your favorite nursing bra make it on the list?
