I know that it might seem useless because when you’re stuck in that burnout cycle it seems like there is no way out, but trust me, building in a solid mental health check in routine with my mental health check in list will help you finally break free from the cycle.
If not break free, it’ll help you better manage the cycle. But you have to stick with it!

- Are you hydrated?
- Have you showered?
- Have you eaten recently?
- Have you stretched today?
- Have you meditated today?
- Have you complimented yourself today?
- Have you danced?
- Have you gone outside today?
- Have you spent too much time online today?
- Have you written out your daily affirmations?
- Are you dressed?
- Are you tired?
How to Use the List
Using a check in list is super easy. Simply read through the list and run through what you have done/need to do. I always start at the top and work my way down until I begin to feel better.
Sometimes all I needed to do was sit down and drink some water. Other days I made it through the whole list and decided what I truly needed was a break with a nap.
It’ll change depending on the day but what matters is that you read through the list and actually DO the tasks.
