apple chunk monkey bread
Quick and easy twist on monkey bread that the whole family will love!

Ingredients
Apple Mixture

*optional* Icing
Instructions
  1. Core apples and dice into small chunks and place in medium sauce pan
  2. Add brown sugar, cinnamon, honey and vanilla to the apples
  3. Place sauce pan on stove and cook on medium low for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally
  4. Dice biscuits and place in large bowl. I diced each biscuit into eight pieces
  5. Grease your baking dish, I used a pie pan
  6. Layer the diced biscuits and apple chunks in the pie pan. I decided on three layers
  7. In the same medium sauce pan, add the remaining butter, brown sugar and cinnamon and cook on low heat until thoroughly combined
  8. Pour cinnamon mixture over layered ingredients in pie pan
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes
*optional* Icing
  1. Place powdered sugar, butter and splash of milk in a medium bowl
  2. Using an electric hand mixer, mix until no sugar chunks remain
  3. Add a splash more milk if the icing is too thick for your liking
  4. Drizzle over the top of your monkey bread
