Caramel Apple Butter
This caramel apple butter tastes like a mix of fall and the holidays. Cinnamon, ginger and cloves make up the spice that dance along side sultry caramel inside the perfect apple base.

Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Core, peel and dice the apples and place in a large Crockpot
  2. Mix together the brown sugar and spices
  3. Sprinkle the sugar and spice mix over the top of the apples
  4. Place the lid on the Crockpot and cook on high for 6 hours, stirring occasionally
  5. After six hours, place the hot apple mixture (INCLUDING THE LIQUID) in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth
  6. Place the apple mixture back into the Crockpot
  7. Fold in the vanilla and caramel
  8. Cook on low for 1-2 more hours with the lid on sideways to let the butter breathe
  9. Remove from Crockpot once desired thickness has been reached
  10. Can while warm and place in refrigerator or freezer
