I am always on the lookout for a good breakfast smoothie.
One day I just kind of put together this chocolate peanut butter smoothie and I thought to myself-
“THIS IS IT!!!!”
I could seriously eat it every day. My husband says that I am wrong, and I could never eat something every single day. But I say he is wrong.
Because it is that good.
Not only is it that good, but it is filling, has some substance, and quick to make. And I need all of those things these days.
With four moth old twins rolling around on the carpet, needing me every two seconds, I need something I can whip up FAST that is going to curb my hunger for a while.
That is all why I was so excited when I put together this smoothie!
The way I have created it, you can’t taste the greens AT ALL, and the banana doesn’t over power the chocolate or peanut butter.
It is truly an awesome combination.
I mean, who doesn’t love something chocolate for breakfast?
And now you’re talking chocolate ANNNND healthy???
Well that is all you need!
I have made the smoothie with almond milk, however, regular cows milk would work just fine. Heck, any milk would work.
Just remember, once you start throwing in half and half to make this breakfast smoothie, it’ll be more like a milkshake.
But hey, a milkshake with fruits AND vegetables.
I say that would be a win.
All I am getting at is that you can use whichever liquid form you’d like. Smoothies just need a liquid to create the smooth texture that makes them so easy to drink.
To mix up my killer smoothie creation, I use my Ninja Master Prep. I love all of the Ninja products, but the master prep is awesome because it breaks down into individual pieces for easy storage.
I actually keep all of the pieces in the original box on top of my cabinets. Super simple to clean, since everything is dishwasher safe, and both of the mixers are AWESOME.
They promote that you can make cookie dough in them, but I haven’t ever tried that.
Okay back to the smoothie- read on for the recipe!
