I am always looking for good Gluten Free dog treats for my pups.
One of my dogs, Abbie, has a gluten intolerance, so we feed both of our dogs GF. My biggest problem with going gluten free is the expense! I found a good, cost efficient GF dog food that they love, however, treats are another story.
Dog treats to begin with can be expensive, but GF? They cost almost as much as their food! Personally, that is just too much. So generally they go without treats. Well, they get kitchen scraps, but I don’t go out of my way to buy them special treats. But with the holidays coming up, I decided to get a little festive and make up some doggie Christmas cookies!
The pumpkin peanut butter cookies I created are super simple and most importantly, gluten free!
I decided on pumpkin because I already know it is good for dog digestion. But I also decided to throw in peanut butter because my dogs love anything that smells like peanut butter!
Go ahead and continue reading for how I made my super simple GF dog treats!
