What do you want out of your morning routine?
Do you want some “me time”? Finish your coffee before the kids wake up? Get a solid workout in?

A productive morning routine is seriously my ultimate hack to rocking this whole motherhood thing.
I’m not crazy about it. I don’t wake up at 5AM on the dot ready to rock and toll every sinlge morning. But I do have a list of things that truly help get me going and make for a solid day of parenting.
Honestly, I think my morning roytine hacks are what truly help me get through the day without completely losing it with my year-old twins.

1. First up, the coffee hack.
Or tea. Whatever it is that you can pour in a cup and start drinking after you roll out of bed. Get that going FIRST. Before you shower, dress make your bed. Just get that beverage flowing.
2. Skip the shower.
Oops, I said it. You don’t need to shower every day. Your hair will figure itself out. You’re killing precious AM time by stepping into the shower each morning.
3. Do: Get dressed.
Skip the shower, but actually put some real pants on. You’ll feel so much better about your day. Plus, you’ll be ready to leave the house at any given moment in you need a breather.
4. Kids up early? Netflix to the rescue.
No judgement here, mamas. Netflix was invented for more than just chilling. I pay $15 a month for a stellar babysitting and I am not ashamed about that.
5. Sit down and eat some actual breakfast.
You can’t keep running around on E all the time, mama. Instead, make your week count by stopping by your local Walmart and snagging a few Jimmy Dean Simple Scrambles® breakfast cups to get you going in the morning.
