I am looking forward to the day I no longer need to carry a diaper bag.
At least I don’t carry as much now as I did in my newborn diaper bag.
But a toddler diaper bag is still a lot to carry around. Especially with a wild toddler (or two!) to run after.
I’ve been asked a lot lately over on Instagram for a bag spill of my toddler diaper bag, so I figured I’d lay it all out in a little blog post so ya’ll could pin it for later.
My toddler diaper bag isn’t too packed full of stuff, it is basically all things you would expect to be in there. But I am including what I keep in the bag for myself inside of this post!
Now, keep in mind I have toddler twins. So I have to carry around double of most everything. You might want to half this list if you don’t have twins.
And then lucky you, you’d have a lot less to carry around!
Let’s dive right in.
Toddler Diaper Bag Spill
For the Little Ones:
- Wipes
- 4 Diapers
- Sunscreen
- Bum Paste
- 2 Pouches
- 2 Bars
- Small First Aid Kit (you never know when you’ll need it!)
- Extra Pants (accidents happen!)
- 2 Sippys
For Mama:
- Wallet
- Pen
- Hand Sanitizer
- Hand Lotion
- Sunglasses
Super simple and to the point I hope.
I don’t carry much else unless we’re doing something specific like going to the beach, a road trip, ect.

I hope this gave you guys some good ideas on what I keep with me at all times, and what you might want to keep in your own toddler diaper bag.
