How Can Moms

Practice Daily Self Care?

I think of self-love for moms as looking at yourself as a priority. The kids have needs, as does the house, dog, work, yard. So many things in your life have needs, and so do YOU.

When your cup is full, you’re happier. Plain and simple. But beyond that, you’ll find that you’re much more content and can better handle the many stressors of motherhood.

Do you know your love language? My secondary love language is gift receiving and frankly, I take that into my own hands. Small gifts like a new book or some beautiful peonies to place on my dresser as all that I need to top off my cup.

2. Small Gifts

I talk about this often, but I love the saying of “the most productive thing you can do is unproductive”. Aka- rest! Sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself is to get some well-deserved rest.

3. Rest
