How to Prepare for Cold and Flu Season as Mom

Raise your hand if cold and flu season scares the crap out of you as a mom?

Everyone? Thought so.

Well, now is a better time than any to prepare for cold and flu season.

I honestly never thought much of cold and flu season before having the twins. Now? I DREAD it. I just think about all of the icky places they can pick up nasty germs and it makes me want to hide in a bubble!

No, I don’t actually do that.

But sometimes I really want to! Recently I have noticed the bugs starting to swarm in. A friend with a cough here, a runny nose there. Upset stomach over there. You can try all you want to keep the bugs away, but eventually, they will get you. And you will be down for the count.

Especially since you have those beautiful little babies in your life now. They are like walking lint rollers that only pick up germs, I swear. So, mamas, we have to prepare.

Clear off some space in your cabinets and counters, because we’re about to take a trip to Fred Meyers.

Fred Meyers has always been my go to regardless of the occasion. But stocking up? You can bet I am going to take them up on their every day low prices for that. They always have everything that I need, which is especially convenient now that I have the twins and never want to get out of the car more than once.

Step one in preparing for cold and flu season? Head over to your local Fred Meyers (or other Kroger subsidiary) and strap those littles into the cart.

I promise we won’t be long.

First stop, the cold and flu section. There you’ll find the first thing on your list: Theraflu Power Pods.
