I was gifted this product from PinkBlush, however as always, all opinions are my own. I only review products I adore!
I’ve been trying something new lately.
I have actually been getting dressed.
If you guys follow me over on Instagram, you’d know that I basically live my life in tees, yogas and sweatshirts. But this fall I have been making an effort to look more put together. The lazy way, obviously.
Luckily, PinkBlush heard my self goals and threw in their hand. The ultimate way to looking put together this fall?
A cozy, neutral sweater like this one from PinkBlush.
Why is it the ultimate lazy mom hack? Because a nice sweater literally throws the whole outfit together. At least in my opinion.
The best part about a nice sweater is that you can throw it over most any outfit and it just looks cute and fall.
My favorite way to style it lately has been a pair of (actual) black jeans and a loose tank. Simple. Crazy simple!
Then when my jeans get dirty, or I get tired of wearing jeans, I throw on some black yogas and tall boots. Then I am good to go!
Another reason I think a nice sweater is the key to looking put together this fall is that it brings your spring/summer clothes into season.
Throw the sweater over a dress and BOOM. Fall. A cute and effortless fall outfit, perfect for the lazy mom within.
But aside from the outfit, you still have the hair and makeup. My hack?
Obviously an updo of some sort. I usually stick to top buns, but I’ve been adventuring out and straightening half of my hair, and throwing the other half up in a top knot. Another minimal effort mom hack!
Then when it comes to makeup, I typically stick to a pretty basic routine. I don’t like to look overdone when I’m just hanging out at home, or living daily life. I actually mix some foundation with my moisturizer for a light face. Then set with some powder, use some brow mascara, bronzer in the crease of my eyelids, some mascara, and then a flash of highlighter to bring it all together.
If you’d like a tutorial on my everyday lazy mom makeup look, feel free to comment and let me know!
But until then, keep the one hack in mind.
SWEATERS.
Throw a nice, comfy sweater over your laid back tank and mom jeans and you got it.
