Looking for a tasty work from home pasta salad recipe? You should try out this quick to make + easy caesar pasta salad recipe. It’s easy enough to whip together & eat all inside of your lunch break. Or you could work smarter & note harder (unlike myself) and make it over the weekend to eat throughout the week.
How to Make this Work From Home Pasta Salad
First up, you gotta boil your pasta. I choose bowtie pasta but go ahead and use whatever shape of pasta you want for this caesar pasta salad recipe.
It’ll all taste the same. I’m positive.
While your pasta is boiling, go get to chopping your veggies.
Aka, romaine lettuce and cherry tomatoes.
I usually toss the outer layers of the romaine but you do you.
While chopping the veggies, I advise keeping an eye on your pasta. You don’t want it overcooked!
Al Dente makes for the best pasta texture inside of pasta salad. It holds up a lot better and lasts longer.
Okay, once your pasta is done you can move forward one of two ways.
You can do what I do and rinse the pasta with cool water until the pasta is cold OR you can let it cool off on it’s own.
I hate waiting around so when it comes to making my work from home pasta salad recipe, I just want it DONE and over with.
So rinsing the pasta until it’s cool it is.
Next up, you’re going to add all of the ingredients (pasta, veggies, dressing, and grated parmesan cheese) into a large bowl and mix it up!
You can then go straight to eating the caesar pasta salad goodness, or do the right thing and let the flavors do their thing in the fridge for a few hours.
Again, I don’t like waiting.
So eating right away it is.
And there you have it, a super easy work from home pasta salad recipe that is TASTY and lasts well in the fridge. I do suggest covering in the fridge to help it keep well (+ limit the “fridge” taste).
