Life with twins comes with a lot of perks, but diaper changes are not one of them.
Diaper changing stations are a MUST in the twin world.

I mean, we change like 15-20 diapers a day. And I for one don’t want to spend aaanymore time than absolutely necessary doing it!
To make the process as quick and easy as possible, I have two changing stations in the house.
One in their room (duh) and another near the couch.
By changing station, I just mean a collection of the main things that I might need for baby at any given point of the day. Diapers, wipes, butt paste, ect.
Aside from the two stations, I just have a little pile of diapers and wipes in our bedroom that we use occasionally.
But most diaper changes happen in their room and the living room. I would imagine it is the same way in your home!
As you can imagine, the baby room changing station is the biggest.
Here is what it looks like;
I opted for a standard dresser for the twins for the practicality of use over the upcoming years. It also is the perfect height for the changing pad. I bought it off of Amazon and stuck a removable cover over the top and it has worked great for us so far!
Then we have the obvious diaper genie. If you don’t have one already, you seriously NEED it! Check out my post here of other baby necessities!
Okay and last up we have the most important part- the actual storage. I bought the rolling cart off of Amazon and I think it is supposed to be a Kitchen cart but as you can tell, it makes a great diaper caddy!
I stock the top with diapers (the picture displays a whole extra large box of diapers), two packs of wipes, and then diaper cream. Under that, I keep the bulk of wipes, open box of diapers, and diaper genie refills.
What I love most about my set up is that it lasts me sometimes more than a week before I have to restock by opening another diaper box and grabbing more wipes from underneath.
It also takes up minimal space and is easy to move around if need be!
My living room station is a looot smaller.
Like able to carry in one hand while also holding a baby smaller.
You might be thinking “but where is the changing table?!”
Yeah I don’t use one. I use the floor or the couch when I am anywhere other than their bedroom.
The thought of just freely changing a baby butt on the couch grossed me out when we first brought the twins home, but I quickly got over that one!
I figure new furniture will be my reward after potty training the twins in the future!
Back to the changing station- it is simply a soft caddy that holds everything I need!
I bought it on Amazon just like everything else and it has worked great for us!
It has three large compartments that I use for diapers, wipes, and burp cloths.
And then the caddy has little pockets all the way around it that I use for teething oil, binkies, butt paste, a thermometer, ect.
Basically anything that fits!
The biggest saving grace is that it is small enough to fit on the back of the couch for easy spit up rag storage!
I have been thanked many times by friends and family for the close burp rag storage!
