A self care worksheet is a helpful tool for making sure you’re taking care of your mental health. They can be a list of ideas for taking care of the various types of self care, or an open page for providing your own ideas for taking care of your mental health. You’ll see in this post that I included a few different examples of what a self care worksheet can look like and what it can include!
How to Use a Self Care Worksheet
Using a self care worksheet is simple. If you’re using one that already has examples of ideas for each type of self care and how to care for yourself, simply choose something to focus on from each list. If you’re using an open ended sheet, you’ll be prompted to add in your own examples of how you’d like to care for each area of self care and from there you will act on them!

Tips for Creating a Self Care Plan
Creating a self care plan is pretty simple. After you know what the types of self care are, you can use a self care worksheet to help you create a routine for yourself. Maybe that means each day you attempt to tackle one type of self care. Or maybe you have one day a week where you tackle three types of self care. A self care plan will vary for everyone but what matters most is that you create a self care plan that works FOR you!
Importance of a Self Care Plan
Okay, but why is a self care plan important? Well, I would have to say a self care plan is important if you are someone like me and need assistence and reminders when it comes to caring for yourself. For myself, it is helpful to have examples and reminders when it comes to caring for my overall wellbeing. These self care worksheets do just that!
